Q: Am I able to access this benefit more than once per year?
A: Carte Blanche Cardmembers are entitled to unlimited access to the companion ticket benefit throughout their Membership year. Diners Club Professional Charge Card Cardmembers are eligible for the companion ticket benefit one time during their Membership year. Both Carte Blance Cardmembers and Diners Club Professional Charge Card Cardmembers can use the $250 savings on Club World advance purchase airfares to London as many times as they wish.

Q: Is the benefit available to both corporate and Professional Primary Carte Blanche Cardmembers?
A: The British Airways companion ticket offer is available to both corporate and Professional Primary Carte Blanche Cardmembers.

Q: What fares qualify for a complimentary companion ticket?
A: Companion tickets on British Airways are available with the purchase of a full fare, round-trip ticket in First , Club World (business) and World Traveller Plus (premier economy) levels originating from the U.S. or Canada to the UK and then beyond. The Following Booking Inventory Classes Apply

As a reminder, promotional fares, corporate discounts, consolidator tickets and other special offers do not qualify.

Q: What is considered a promotional fare?
A: When the airline advertises specials available only for a limited time, these are considered promotional fares and do not qualify for the companion ticket program. Examples of promotional fares include holiday discounts, seat sales, infant or senior citizen discounts, or limited time discounts to respond to a competitor's lower pricing.

Q: Can I call British Airways to get the availability of seating before I book through Diners Club?
A: The seats available for the companion ticket program are limited. Therefore, although the airlines may show seats available on the flight, the seat allocations for this program may be already taken. With our program, you may choose from First , Club World (business) or World Traveller Plus (premier economy) and receive a companion ticket for the same class of service.

Q: What makes this companion program different from others?
A: Unlike some companion ticket programs, you are not limited to one class of service. With our program, you may choose from FIRST , Club World (business) or World Traveller Plus (premier economy) and receive a companion ticket for the same class of service.

Q: Do I have to make my reservations in advance to take advantage of this benefit?
A: Yes, reservations must be made at least 5 business days before travel for corporate Cardmembers and at least 7 business days before travel for professional Cardmembers.

Q: Am I required to stay over on Saturday night?
A: Yes, the itinerary must include a Saturday night stay.

Q: Can I use my frequent flyer miles or Club Rewards points to pay for my ticket?
A: Purchased tickets may not be bought with Club Rewards points or BA Miles.

Q: Will I earn Club Rewards points and frequent flyer miles on the purchased ticket?
A: Yes, you will earn both Club Rewards points on the purchase amount of the ticket and BA Miles on the number of miles flown for the purchased ticket.

Q: Can I use my frequent flyer miles to upgrade my seat class?
A: This program does not allow you to combine the companion ticket with any other offers including using frequent flyer miles to upgrade your class of service.

Q: What happens if I purchase the tickets now, but later need to make a change?
A: All changes are subject to the purchased fare rules. Additional charges may apply for new routing requests.

Q: If I buy my ticket and the fare goes down, can I get a refund for the difference?
A: Fares can fluctuate daily. However, once you book your flight, you are committed to the purchase price of that ticket. If the fare goes down after booking, we cannot refund the difference.

Q: What if I need to cancel my travel arrangements?
A: The cancellation rules are determined by the kind of fare you have purchased. While some fares have no restrictions, others are non-refundable or have penalties. Be sure to check the cancellation rules prior to your ticket purchase.

Q: Can I book directly through the airline, my travel agent or the Internet?
A: No. All booking and ticketing must be handled through your Carte Blanche Personal Service Representative.

Q: Can I use this offer for my friends or family?
A: The complimentary ticket may be used by anyone you designate, as long as that person travels on the same itinerary as the purchased ticket. The Carte Blanche Card Primary Cardmember or Corporate Cardmember must be the name on the purchased ticket.
